As God's people, our Confessions are loaded with power {Ecclesiates 8:4} therefore, let your Confessions about your life and that of your environment be words that will shape, build and establish you in prosperity, unity, peace, progress and economic stability and also teach others to do the same.

JOY CONFESSIONS
JOY CONFESSIONS
We having the same spirit of faith, according as it is written, I believed, and therefore I have spoken; we also believe, and therefore speak {2Corinthians 4:13}.
For the divine provisions of the Gospel made available to you in Christ Jesus to become your vital experience in life, you must acknowledge what God has done for you and in you, and confess it. Many live beggarly lives, far below their calling because they don't know how to make these "joyful confessions." A joyful confession is declaring what God has said about you; rejoicing over who you are, what you have, and what you can do in Christ, and confessing it!
Others may say you're boasting when you joyfully confess God's Word about you, but it makes no difference.
You're what God says you are! 2Corinthians 8:9, "For ye know the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ, that, though he was rich, yet for your sakes he became poor, that ye through his poverty might be rich." Then 1Corinthians 3:21 says "Therefore let no man glory in men. For all things are yours"
Also, 1 Peter 2:24 says "Who his own self bare our sins in his own body on the tree, that we, being dead to sins, should live unto righteousness: by whose stripes ye were healed."
Thus, on the basis of these Scriptures, you ought to make your joyful confessions and say "I refuse to be broke, poor or sick" Say this today and every day; make it your language. Remember, Jesus said you shall have what you say {Mark 11:23}. Therefore keep talking right! Learn how to use your mouth to take possession of that which is already yours i Christ Jesus. Keep declaring who you are in Christ. Testify to what God has done for you, in you and through you!
The Psalmist said "I believe therefore I have spoken" [Psalm 116:10}; and in our opening scripture we read that "We having the same spirit of faith, according as it is written, I believed, and therefore have I spoken; we also believe, and therefore speak." That's because our confessions rule us. So keep making those joyful confessions of God's Word that reveal your identity and inheritance in Christ.

LIGHT UP YOUR WORLD
Ye are the light of the world. A city that is set on an hill cannot be hid. Neither do men light a candle, and put it under a bushel, but on a candlestick; and it giveth light unto all that are in the house. {Matthew 5:14-15}.
The impact of light in our world can't be over emphasized. If you've ever traveled in an airplane I'm sure you'll understand what I mean. Each time you traveled by air you'll always be intrigued at the view you'll see from an airplane, particularly when it's about to land in the night. When you look out of the window before it commences its descent, you won't be able to see anything because everywhere is dark. But at it descends, you'll begin to see flickers of lights, in spite of the fact that you're still thousands of feet from the ground. Many times, you'll be able to distinguish between the headlight of cars and those of different houses.
Being able to see and differentiate the light of cars moving and those of different homes, right from up the clouds is simply amazing. This means, just one light can make a whole world of difference in a dark world. No wonder the Lord Jesus said we're like the city that's set upon a hill which can't be hidden. In other words, a child of God can't be hidden as his light is shining ever so brightly.
The Bible says, "And the Gentiles shall come to thy light, and kings to the brightness of thy rising" {Isaiah 60:3}.
Put differently, the unbeliever and kings; people of remarkable influence-dignitaries- will come to you because the glory of God is shining through you. many of them are already peeping through their windows to look at you as you pass by: they recognize that you're the light of the world; so light up you world.
I am the light of the world, for the glory of God is shining in me by the Spirit of God. Through these treasures are encased in an earthen vessel, they flow through me to my world like a flood, touching lives, healing the sick, delivering the oppressed and lifting the downtrodden, to the praise and glory of the Name of Jesus Christ.
{John8:12; Romans8:19}.

YOU CAN LOVE LIKE GOD
For this cause I bow my knees unto the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, Of whom the whole family in heaven and earth is named, that he would grant you, according to the riches of his glory, to be strengthened with might by his Spirit in the inner man; That Christ may dwell in your hearts by faith; that being rooted and grounded in love, May be able to comprehend with all saints what is the breath, and length, and depth. amd heigth; And to know the love of Christ, which passeth knowledge, that ye might be filled with all the fullness of God [Ephesians 3:14-19].
The scripture above is a beautiful prayer by the apostle Paul for the Body of Christ. In it, he lets us know that with the knowledge of the love of Christ, we will be filled with all the fullness of God. When the love of Christ is working in you, you'll love every single person that comes across your path no matter how seemingly worthless, insignificant or unloveable he may be.
When the Bible says in John 3:16, "For God so loved the world that he gave his only begotten son..." it wasn't referring to the world of buildings, cars, machines, vegetation, aceans and mountains, but the world of people. That means He loves every single person in the world. We also ought to love everyone without discrimination, for the love of Christ doesn't exclude anyone.
You have the capacity to love like God. The Bible says, "But God who is rich in mercy, for his great love wherewith he loved us, Even when we were dead in sins, hath quickened us together with Christ, [by grace ye are saves;]" [Epesians 2:4-5]. God loved us while we were yet sinners.
Therefore, let your love for the people for whom Christ died be untense, and let it also motivate you to soul winning.
Today, let your heart beat with love for those around you who are yet to know the Lord. Let Christ's love in you compel you to preach the gospel to them and turn them from darkess to light and from the power of satan unto God.
CONFESSION
I am a child of God, created in His very image of love. I have the ability to love like my heavenly Father who gave up Jesus to die for my sake. The love of Christ have taken a hold of me and I'm manisfesting this love, thereby reaching out to my world with love. Hallelujah.

THE INDWELLING PRESENCE OF THE HOLY SPIRIT
THE INDWELLING PRESENCE OF THE HOLY SPIRIT
And I will pray the Father, and he shall give you another comforter, that he may abide with you for ever; Even the Spirit of truth; whom the world cannot receive, because it seeth him not, neither know him: for he dwelleth with you
, and shall be in you. [John 14:16-18}.
The indwelling presence of the Holy Spirit is one of the greatest gifts you could ever hace sa a Christian. This truth is even more profound when we recognize and take full advantage of the ministry of the Holy Spirit in our lives.
Just think about it:What in the world could you do for God all by yourself and in your own power? Nothing! The Father has more angels than there are people, and these angels are more powerful the humans {Psalm 8:4-5}. So, in a sense, He really doesn't need humans to help Him. However, He created us in His image and after His likeness so it would be possible for us to be filled with His Spirit. That's a blessing and a previllage angels don't have.
Your service to God becomes acceptable to Him when you render it through the Holy Spirit. Therefore learn to always honour The presence of the Holy Spirit in your life. Never take it lightly; His presence is the most important thing to you. Remember, life is nothing without the Holy Spirit. When you get to know Him and fellowship with Him, your life take on a new meaning.
Dear heavenly Father, I thank you for the gift of the Holy Spirit in my life. I recognize and acknowlege Him as the one you sent to guide me and lead me in the affairs of life {John 16:13;Ephesians 3:19; 1Corinthians 3:16}.

THE WORD OF GOD
The Word Of God:
"Thus saith the Lord, thy Redeemer, the Holy one of Israel; I am the
Lord thy God which teacheth thee to profit, whch leadth thee by the way
that thou shouldest go"{Isaiah 48:17}.
When we rely on our human understanding, it limits us because we cannot
tell those things that are good for us until we look into the Word of
God. The Word of God is the wisdom of God and Wisdom is the principal
thing. There are many things that seem like the truth but are actually
a perversion of truth. As believers, we have the Spirit of wisdom, and
Christ has been made Wisdom unto us[1 Corinthians 1:30}. So we discern
and walk in it.
It's not everything that comes your way that's a blessing from God;
it's not every job that is of God; every lady or man that likes you
can't be your wife or husband and it's not all the money that comes
your way that's is a financial blessing from God. You can know those
things that are good for you through the Word of God and by His Spirit,
for the Spirit and the Word are one. If God Word says to do something,
the you should because it'll be for your good.
Don't try it outfirst to see it it's good for you or not. Some people
say experience is the best teacher but that's not true. You don't have
to suffer the consequences of your actions before learning from them. If
you're not sure about it,look in the Word, or else, leave it alone.
Colossians 3:16 says, 'Let the Word of God dwell in your richly...'so
that when you face situations that require immediate response, there'll
be sufficient information in you to decide in agreement with the Word.
This is the reason you must invest your time and resources in God's
Word; in it is all life-giving information you'll ever need.
I fix my eyes, ears and heart on God's Word. My hope is built on no other foundation that Christ Jesus. He alone is my guide and He leads me along the right path through this world

MINISTER TO THE LORD
MINISTER TO THE LORD
As they Ministered to the Lord, and fasted, the Holy Ghost said, Separate me Barnabas and Saul for the work whereunto I have called them [Acts 13:2}
It's our priestly responsibility as Christians to Minister to the Lord , and it's impottant that you understand how to do it, and the benefits that accrue from it. The first thing to do in Ministering to the Lord is to focus your attention on him in worship. Secondly, learn to speak words of praise to Him from your sprit, words that extol His majestic.Such praise should have content.
For example, simply saying, ''Lord, I praise you'', isn't enough. You've got to tell Him what you're praising Him for. You're got to tell Him how wonderful, loving and kind He is; you ought to give substance to your praises of Him. So in Ministering to the Lord you focus your attension on Him and praise Him from your spirit with words of worship and thanksgiving, The Lord responds to you when you minister to Him like this.
When the apostles ministered to Him and fasted as we read in our opening scripture, He responded by giving them direction regarding an important issue. In the same way, God gives you guidance and enlightens your spirit as to what you need do in specific circumstances as you minister to Him. He ministers strength to you and prepares you for the task ahead.
Your fellowship with the Holy Spirit becomes effective as you Minister to the Lord from your spirit; He participates in everything you do and dispenses His blessing into your life. You also experience His transpotation as He moves you from one level of glory to another
Dear Heavenly Father , I thank you for continually manisfesting your love towards me. I'm grateful for your mercy and kindness . I thank you for dispensing abudant grace and blessings into my life; you're the only true and wise God! I worship you today for decorating my life with your beauty, in Jesus' Name. Amen!

THE POWER OF OUR THOUGHTS
...For as he thinketh in his heart, so is he...{Proverbs 23:7}.
Thoughts are pictures of the mind that have constructive or destructive potential. Thoughts also have power and create realities. The quickest way to affect your thoughts is through mental pictures. You've got to see first in your mind the things you desire for your life.
In Genesis 15: 1, God told Abraham, ''...Fear not...I am thy shield, and thy exceeding great reward.'' But instead of Abraham to be excited at God's Word, he complained bitterly: ''Sovereign LORD, what good are all your blessings when I don't even have a son? Since I don't have a son, Eliezer of Damascus, a servant in my household, will inherit all my wealth" [Genesis 15:2-3 TNLB}.
God, however, knew what to do to make Abraham believe; He gave him a mental picture. He ''...brought him forth abroad, and said, look now toward heaven, and tell the stars, if thou be able to number them: and he believed in the Lord; and He counted it to him for righteousness'' {Genesis 15:5-6} .
That picture of having offspring as innumerable as the stars in the sky helped Abraham believe God's Word and think the right thoughts. He went on to receive God's promise and Isaac was born.
Make a practice of forming the right images in your mind based on God's Word. When you do, those thoghts will create realities.
CONFESSION
my mind is flooded with the light of God's Word and I only see pictures of excellence, success, victory and abundance. I think the right thoughts, speak the right words and receive the results of the Word in my life today. Glory to God.

UPGRADE YOU LIFE WITH THE WORD!
UPGRADE YOU LIFE WITH THE WORD!
For the word of God is quick and powerful, and sharper that any two-edged sword, piercing even to the dividing asunder of soul and sprit, and of the faints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thought and intents of the heart {Hebrews 4:12}.
All over the world. People upgrade their wardrobes, cars and even their homes. It’s natural for us to want something better; something more comfortable, faster and more advanced that whatever we’ve hitherto had or been used to. But a lot of folks don’t know that they can upgrade their lives with the Word of God as they do their personal effects.
God’s Word is the only ingredient that can upgrade a person’s life on all three levels-spirit, soul and body.
Firstly, the Word of God goes into your spirit with the power to make you what it talks about. When your spirit is upgraded this way, it will affect your tongue, causing you to speak in line with the Word and consequently chart the course of your life in the direction of God’s will.
The Word of God can also upgrade your way of thinking as the Bible says in Romans 12:2: “…Be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind…”And then of course , the Word of God can upgrade your physical body: “My son, attend to my words; incline thine ear unto my sayings… for they are life unto those that find them, and health to all their flesh” {Proverb 4:18}. The word “health” is from the Greek Word “marpe” which means medicine, showing that God’s Word will immunize you against sickness and infirmity.
Make a personal decision to upgrade your life everyday with the Word of God. You’ve probably done it for other things that you own, but you’re greater that your possessions. The upgrading of your life ought to take the preeminence, for that will cause every other thing about your life to surely move upward and forward. Your life would truly be an unending stream of success and progress.
CONFESSION
The word of God is working in me, producing what it talks about and propelling me from one level of greatness to another. Through the Word, I’m moving from glory to glory and making progress in every areas of my life. My profiting is appearing to all, and I’m manifesting the virtues of the divine life as the Word of God pilots me in the upward-and-forward direction. In Jesus Name. Amen.
DOMINION OVER CIRCUMSTANCES
DOMINION OVER CIRCUMSTANCES
Romans 5:17
INTRODUCTION:
THE CHRISTIAN LIFE IS A LIFE OF DOIMINION.
God never intended for his children to be victims in life or adverse circumstances, let alone victims of the devil. The devil and all the cohorts of hell have been defeated, and we have been brought into a life of complete dominion where we reign in life through Jesus Christ. We have been fashioned for a life of dominion and victory.
However many still suffer and held in bondage because of ignorance or because they have refused to accept the life that God has planed for them. They suffer what they aught not to suffer because they lack knowledge; and this is why the teaching of God’s word is so important. It shows you who you really are and what belongs to you in Christ. Jesus said, “and these signs shall follow them that believe; in my name if they shall drink any deadly thing, it shall not hurt them; they shall lay hands on the sick, and they shall recover’’ {Mark 16:17-18}.
This is the description of the new creation; that is, the man or woman is born against! It’s not a promise; it is a statement of fact. Jesus was actually saying that with these signs, the world could recognize the new breed of men that would be coming on the scene. This new breed would exercise absolute mastery over devils and diseases and function with superhuman capabilities that would cause the world to marvel.
You receive eternal life-the God kind of life, by virtue of salvation [John 3:16} and this is what makes it possible for you to live in complete dominion over sickness and diseases. When this life is in you, no infirmity has the power or ability to destroy your body {Romans 8:11}.
UNDERSTANDING DOMINION IN CHRIST
The word ‘‘dominion’’ is derived from the Latin word “ Dominus’’ which literally means ‘’Lord’ this refers to one with sovereign power and control over a realm or territory; it connotes kingly authority with legal right to govern a land, The individual or groups of person with this kind of authority as the case may be, would be the supreme authority of the land, occupying the most exalted and distinguished position. Dominion could thus be defined as authority with honour, with the rights and privileges of a king.
In Ephesians 1:22, the Bible says,” And hath put all things under his feet, and gave him {Jesus} to be head over all things to the church which is his body, the fullness of him that filleth all in all.” We are members of the body of Christ, Jesus is the head and we are his body. And, the Bible says all things have been placed under Jesus’ feet, from simple biology, we know that the feet are a part of the body. Now, if all things have been placed under his feet, it means as a member of the body of Christ, all things are under you! Notice the scripture didn’t say some things, but all things. All with the exception of none have been placed under your feet. This includes all poverty, sickness, and diseases, demons and every infirmity. With this dominion, no negative circumstance can reign successfully in your life because they have all been placed under your feet; therefore, refuse to be a victim. God said, ‘’my people are destroyed because of lack of knowledge…” [Hosea4:6}. Ignorance of God’s word regarding your dominion can keep you in bondage, but the day you discover the truth, you’ll shake off that circumstance that plagued you for so long, and walk free.
JESUS GAVE YOU POWER…
In Matthew 28:18, Jesus said, ‘’…All power is given unto me in heaven and in earth, go ye therefore…’’Glory to God! ALL Power in heaven and in the earth belongs to Jesus. This automatically means you have all power in heaven and in the earth because you are his representative. He has delegated all his power to you to function in his place. You have power over every demon of rank in this world, and they know it.
Now, Jesus says, on the basis of this unqualified authority that has been vested in my name, go and exercise dominion. I’ll be back of you! You can see this authority today over demons, diseases and death, and expect them to comply. You can exercise it over your body as well and tell it what to do. You are the custodian of your body, which is God’s property “…therefore glorify God in your body and in your spirit, which are God’s’’ {1 Corinthians 6:20} so, when the devil brings his hands against your body, command him to take his hands off God’s property. Your body belongs to God; the devil has no right to reside there.
CONCLUSION:
Go ahead and reign… Make up your mind never to be a victim of poverty, sickness or disease. The salvation wrought for you in Christ Jesus was perfect; you no longer need to live like ordinary human being who is subject to the limitations of this world. When the enemy tries to shows up in your life, or in the lives of those around you, command him to go in the Name of Jesus Christ, and he will.
The Bible says, ‘’for if by one man’s offense death reigned by one; much more they which receive abundance of grace and the gift of righteousness shall reign in life by one, Jesus Christ’’ {Romans 5:17}To reign means to exercise dominion. Though all men became subject to sickness and death because of sin, the bible says ‘’…much more they which receive abundance of grace and the gift of righteousness shall reign in life by one, Jesus Christ.
Reign over every life circumstance today; this because is your right when you accept the life that God offers you. Take advantage of the grace of God in Christ Jesus, and the enemy will have no choice but to flee.
Romans 5:17
WHY YOU MUST GO TO CHURCH
WHY YOU MUST GO TO CHURCH
Hebrews 10:25
INTRODUCTION:
In Matt. 16:18, Jesus spoke of His Church, which is His body on earth and said He would build it and the gates of hell, shall not prevail against it. Some believers don’t think it is necessary for them to belong to a particular local assembly- Church. While some attend a different Church every week without commitment to any, some don’t attend all. As Christians, it’s important for you to identify with a local assembly, a Church you can call your HOME and participate fully in the activities. Otherwise, you’ll deprive yourself of a lot of God’s blessing and you’ll be walking out of line with his word. Here are some of the reasons you must go to church:
1cor 12:12-14 lets us know that we are the body and Christ is the head. All born again believers are members of His body and of one another {1 cor.2:27}.
WHY THEN SHOULD I GO TO CHURCH?
1 It is in Obedience to God’s will; God said so- Hebrews 10:23-25
God admonishes us not to forsake the assembling of ourselves together; pointing out that it is the ‘manner’ of some. God has given an instruction, and we will do well to heed it {2 peter 1:19}. We must go to Church it for no other reason but simply obedience and submission to God’s instructions. When we cultivate this habit, it would not matter whether we feel like or not, it becomes part of our custom and, manner of life.
2 Jesus gave us an example to follow-Luke 4: 16
It was Jesus custom of going to Church. A closer look at this scripture reveals that He not only had a custom of going to Church, but also a custom of being actively involved in service, for He “…stood up for to read…”Take a step beyond developing a custom for to going to Church’ to developing a custom for ‘being involved in Church’. Did Jesus know more than the Rabbis who taught in Church? Yes. Yet He went in obedience to God {God said so] and as an example for us to follow.
3 The Church Is the Pillar and Ground of Truth- 1Timothy 3:15.
Church is the place of truth and really. God’s Word is truth. The Church is the place of God Word. Only here in Church, can you receive truth and inspiration for every situation in your life, and guidance by God‘s spirit through His Word on the next step; even the next on that job that is gradually trying to steal your fellowship with God and the brethren in Church. Here, God can give you an idea to achieve your targets in the shortest time.
4 The Church Is a Place of Fellowship – Hebrew 10:24
In Church, we fellowship with God, His Word and with one another. Here, we are surrounded with visions that inspire us; We see things and people differently; we see clearly where we are, and where we can be and anything is possible. In Church we develop right associations {Proverb 27:17}, and God networks us with the people at the right time to move us to the next level here. Fellowship with other Christians is crucial to the growth of a believer, Hebrews 10:24-25. We’re admonished to provoke one another to love and to good works. We’re also to encourage one another.
CONCLUSION:
Walking in the word of God on your own is an uphill task when you are not attending Church Services regularly. However participating fully in such a church enables you to find out more about the church and her members. As you develop your human spirit through the church services, your walk in the word becomes easier and more productive.
As a child of God, you should identify yourself with a local assembly, a place you can call Home and participate fully in the activities and be vitally involved in the spread of the gospel in your catchments. Otherwise, you’ll deprive yourself of a lot of God’s blessings. Therefore it is essential that you do not forsake the assembly of the saints.

Embrace God Perfect Love
INTRODUCTION:
There is no fear in love;but Pefect Love casteth out fear:because fear hath torment. He that feareth is not made Perfect in love [1 John 4:18].The Bible says Perfect Love casts out fear, meaning there's no fear whatsoever in Perfect Love. If you're a parent for example, and your child has ever welcomed you by jumpimg on you with his dirty hands, you'll understand what I mean. He's excited and full of Love as he sees you and he isn't afraid of punishment because he expects you to respond with the same Love and affection.
God is more than a good daddy. The Bible says "The Lord is good" {Psalm 100:5}; That's HIS NATURE. He always has good things for His Kids. When you understand that the Father Loves you, you won't be afraid to come to Him. The Bible says "but God is rich in mercy, for his great Love wherewith he loved us, even when we were dead in sins, hath quicked us {made us alive} together with Christ..." {Ephesians 2:4-5}. This should make you shout! God is rich in mercy, His love for you is limitless.
As far as the Father is concerned, nothing you do could make Him turn His back on you; He Loves you lavishly: "beloved, what manner of love the father hath bestowed upon us,that we should be called the sons of God..."{1 John 3:1}. Your heavenly Father doesn't see you as a sinner but as loving child, He loves you the way He loves Jesus, and He want you to Embrace that Perfect Love. His love for you can never diminish; that is what makes it perfect.
If you sin, don't let it weigh you down. Tell God about it and say you are sorry, and He'll for give you {1 John 1: 9}. Once you obtain forgiveness,God no longer remembers what you did wrong. It's all part of the new relationship. There are children who are afraid to get close to their parents. Such children aren't growing in love but in fear, because they're more conscious of punishment that the parents' love. But God's love can't be compared with human parental love; it's love most perfect! Embrace that love today.
Confession
I live in the perfect love of God the Father; I'm deeply rooted in and securely founded on His love. Therefore, I can fearlessly, confidently and boldly draw near to the throne of grace to abtain mercy and find grace to help me today!Hallelujah!

The Great Commission
The Great Commission - The Time To Act Is NOW!
INTRODUCTION
Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost” (Matthew 28: 19).
In many parts of the world today, there’s been so much grace to preach the gospel and we’re grateful to the Lord for the glorious opportunity. However, some people are preaching this same gospel in certain places and are being imprisoned for doing so; some have even been killed for it. But we must be undeterred. We must commit ourselves and our resources with renewed vigor to the preaching of the gospel more than ever before!
We must saturate our world with the knowledge of the glory of God. Jesus made this instruction so clear in Matthew 28:19 and now is the time to act on the great commission He gave us. As a child of God, you must have a burning heart to share the good news, a consuming passion to let others know about the love of God. God wants you to take your world for Him, and knowing this, we’ve made it easy for you to achieve the Father’s dream on http://broedward.blogspot.com! Have you shared God’s Word with someone lately? Have you invited someone to Christ recently? Here’s an opportunity to do so by telling others about this blog site http://truconfessionblog.blogspot.com
All you need do is simply send the site address to many of your friends and loved ones.
Our Call To Salvation page has been posted here http://trueconfessionblog.blogspot.com/2010/02/true-confession.html for this purpose and by sending an invite, you are one step closer to achieving The Great Commission. Walk In Love
LOVE IS THE ANSWER:
But whoso hath this world’s good, and seeth his brother have need, and shutteth up his bowels of compassion from him, how dwelleth the love of God in him? My little children, let us not love in word, neither in tongue; but in deed and in truth (1 John 3:17-18).
If you’re born again, it’s compulsory that you Walk in Love, and that love must transcend your mere talking about love into positive action towards others. The latter part of our opening scripture in the Message Translation says “ ...My dear children, let’s not just talk about love; let’s Walk real Love.”
Walking real love means loving your brothers and sisters in the Lord, as Christ has loved you: “he that loveth not his brother whom he hath seen, how can he love God whom he hath not seen?” (1 John 4:20). So, you actually prove your love for God and towards Him in the way you show love to others, especially fellow believers. If you don’t actively love those for whom Jesus died, then you really don’t love God.
Learn to help and give to others; genuinely care for others. Go the extra mile today to assist someone else. Never allow selfishness or self-centredness any place in your heart. Always, at the slightest opportunity, do good to others. Remember that every little act of love or kindness you show to a fellow believer has great reward, for you’re actually doing it unto the Lord (Matthew 25:34-45). No wonder the Apostle John declared in 1 John 3:16: “Hereby perceive we the love of God, because he laid down his life for us: and we ought to lay down our lives for the brethren” (1 John 3:16). This means we ought to love others selflessly and unconditionally as Christ has loved us.
PRAYER
Dear Father, I thank you for your love that’s deposited in my heart by the Holy Spirit! That love radiates through me. Therefore, everyone I meet or relate with today will be blessed with your divine love as I consciously demonstrate it to them through my words and actions, in Jesus’ Name. Amen.
FURTHER STUDY
1 John 3:16 MSG
This is how we've come to understand and experience love: Christ sacrificed his life for us. This is why we ought to live sacrificially for our fellow believers, and not just be out for ourselves.
James 2:15-17
15 For instance, you come upon an old friend dressed in rags and half-starved
16 and say, "Good morning, friend! Be clothed in Christ! Be filled with the Holy Spirit!" and walk off without providing so much as a coat or a cup of soup--where does that get you?
17 Isn't it obvious that God-talk without God-acts is outrageous nonsense?

GOD TALK
My sheep hear my voice, and I know them, and they follow me (John 10:27).
Does God Talk?
There’re those who don’t believe God still talks to people today like He did in Bible days. So when they hear someone say, “God talked to me,” it beats their imagination. “Will God leave all the busy things He has to do, running all the planetary systems and so on, to talk to you?” they wonder. Well, the truth is God loves to talk to His children. He’s a master communicator who thinks you’re important enough for Him to talk to.
If you’ve never heard Him, maybe you’ve not been listening. It’s also possible that God could have been talking to you and you didn’t know it was Him. Remember the story of the little boy, Samuel. God called him three times, but he thought it was Eli the priest (1 Samuel 3:4-10). Why? Because you see, when God talks, He talks with the voice of a man, and a lot of times, He uses a familiar voice.
When Jesus spoke out of heaven to Saul of Tarsus (who later became Paul), He called him by name and said “Saul, Saul, why persecutest thou me? And he (Saul) said, Who art thou, Lord? And the Lord said, I am Jesus whom thou persecutest...” (Acts 9:4-5). Jesus had a dialogue with Paul in the Hebrew tongue (Acts 26:14), a language that Paul understood.
God still talks to us today; in fact, He does every day! He can talk to you in a familiar voice, and in a language you understand. Start training yourself to recognize His voice. The more you study and familiarize yourself with God’s Word, the easier it is for you to recognize and respond when He speaks to you.
Prayer
Dear Father, I thank you for the special relationship of love I share with you. Thank you because your voice is always with me to guide and direct me in all the affairs of life. As I spend time in fellowship with you today, I become sensitive to your will and purpose for my life, in Jesus’ Name.

Perfect Love
And we have known and believed the love that God hath to us. God is love; and he that dwelleth in love dwelleth in God, and God in him (1John 4:16).
The Master’s parable of the prodigal son in Luke 15:11-32 reveals the Father’s unconditional and Perfect Love. In that story, after the prodigal son had spent all his father gave him on riotous living, the Bible records that he later scrambled for food with swine. One day, he suddenly came to himself and decided to go back to his father (Luke 15:17-18).
As soon as his father saw him from afar, he rushed out to embrace him. The first thing he told his father was, “Forgive me,” and his father did! This describes the Perfect Love nature of our heavenly Father towards us. Once you repent and say, “Father, forgive me for what I did wrong,” He is quick to forgive because it’s His nature to do so. The young man’s father killed his “ fatted calf” to celebrate his lost son’s return; an action that paralleled God’s sacrifice of His only Son, Jesus, for our salvation.
When a believer who has strayed from the truth returns to God, He receives him gladly and establishes him in the right path. The believer will not be anything less in God’s hand; God would place him in his rightful place— an heir of the kingdom. This is why as a child of God, you should take advantage of the Father’s Perfect Love; rejoice daily in His love, for He loves you unconditionally.
PRAYER
Dear heavenly Father, thank you for your Perfect Love; thank you for your kindness and your mercies toward me; They are from everlasting to everlasting. I rejoice exceedingly today, knowing that your love for me is unending and perfect. I will today manifest your love to my world, in Jesus’ Name. Amen.

John 3:16
For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.
1 John 4:18
There is no fear in love; but perfect love casteth out fear: because fear hath torment. He that feareth is not made perfect in love.

Confessions
By the blessing of the upright the city is exalted: but it is over thrown by the mouth of the wicked {Proverb 11:11}.
Jesus taught extensively on the importance and power of our Confessions. In Mark 11:23 He said,"...you shall have what you say". That's an established law in the realm of the spirit-the content of your Confessions is what comes to youwhether positive or negative. Now, bringing this to our subject of discussion, the effect of our Confessions in our lives can not be over emphasized, they either nake or mar the peace, progress and our spiritual development.
As God's people, our Confessions are loaded with power {Ecclesiates 8:4} therefore, let your Confessions about your life and that of your environment be words that will shape, build and establish you in prosperity, unity, peace, progress and economic stability and also teach others to do the same.
It never really matters what others are saying about you, maintain your Confessions of who you are in Christ, no matter who is trying to demean you because what you see real becomes your reality. Your Christian maturity begins in your tongue.

Faith Confessions
Blessed is the man that walketh not in the counsel of the ungodly, nor standeth in the way of sinners, nor sitteth in the seat of the scornful {Psalm1:1}.
The Prophet of God Moses sent out twelve men to spy out the land of Canaan. When they returned, ten of them gave a negative and evil report, while only two: Joshua and Caleb were different, their Confessions was base on faith and Godly report. Consequently, the others that brought the evil report received their punishment because of their unbelief and God rewarded Joshua and Caleb for choosing to maintained the Faith Confessions despite the physical circumstances.
As a Christians, You were born into the family of Faith and our Confessions should always represent our true identity like our father Abraham, Isaac, Jacob, David, who had the Faith Confessions in their lips at all and came out triumphant.
They had a different way of thinking, they reason from the perspective of God’s Word only. These are the ones whose examples we’re to follow; we’re to imitate their life style and emulate their Faith Confession.
Christians who still think and Confess negatively probably grew up amongst negative talkers and thinkers. The Bible says, if you walk with the wise you become wise, they also have grown to imbibe the negative-mentality. This shows that negativism is acquired, and we acquire if from those in our environment and those we associate with. So, relates only with those you know that will inspire you, those that have the Faith Confession in their lips always.
